Very useful article by G. Roger Denson. I found it on my first look into art made during times of war. The article links somethings that I was researching on Existentialism quite nicely and also gives a short sum may on how postmodern art developed alongside historical events.
The article focuses on leftist art and mentions the development of art used as propaganda into art used as a menthol of protest. This is an interesting change that I would like to look into further.
