Zainul Abedin December 29, 1914 – May 28, 1976) was a Bangladeshi painter. Most famous for his famine series paintings in 1943.
I was intending to to use Abedin in my reasearch but found it very difficult to find references. The only one other than this website was a book that was hard to find and when i did find it it was too expensive. His most famous work deals with the Bengal Famine, a subject i had made some research into. Most of the work is ink wash on parchment or paper. It would be worth remembering him to come back to later.
