Because the poster has been done in quite a minimalist style it is important to get the font right. I have tested out a few different, minimalist types for instance DIN Alternate Bold and Akzidenz-Grotesk. I don’t want anything to take away from the picture, it needed to be sensible and clear, no comic sans basically.
I found a Guardian article on the top fonts for artists to help out
I found the font that was used for the ‘Visit Belfast’ website, Belfasts official tourist site http://www.visit-belfast.com. With help from the site https://www.myfonts.com/ I was able to discern that the font used was Museo 700, this will be placed on all the main promotional material to be sent out today 3/6/15. The same font is used for http://www.discovernorthernireland.com only is shown in lower case, there are slight differences as well, I think it is Museo Cyrillic. because the show is in the centre of Belfast it is likely the visit Belfast site and campaign would be more recognisable so a mixture of capitals and lower case.
Below you can see a few screenshots of the website used to find the font, pretty useful, ill defiantly use it again.
